vocation
“A vocation flows from the heart of God and blossoms in the good soil of faithful people” – Pope Frances
All those who have heard and understood the call of Christ: “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me,” ought to know that the basis for imitating Christ is self-denial and the fulfilling of God’s will; Therefore, direct all your love to God and in God’s love, sanctify yourselves; – the more wholly and willingly you will commit yourselves to God, the more wholly you will receive His love; – the more you will deny yourselves the more closer you will be to Jesus and shall advance on the way to holiness”.
– Bl. Edmund

Aspirancy
It is a time of deeper searching and discernment, of opening up oneself in order to discover God’s specific call with the accompaniment of an SMMG sister

Postulancy
The aim of the Postulancy is to allow for acquaintance, progressive adaptation to SMMG religious life, and the discernment needed at this stage, as well as to continue human and Christian formation for entry into the Novitiate.

Novitiate
The Novitiate marks the beginning of religious life and its duration is two years. It is the Intensive period of Initial Formation. Its objectives include the discovery of the SMMG Charism and spirituality – to understand and interiorize it; to deepen the novice’s personal relationship with Christ, constantly desired and sought, through a time of interiorization, of initiation into prayer, silence, solitude, and reflection; and finally, to prepare herself for consecration by the Evangelical Vows. This is a formation “in life and through life”.The initiation to SMMG life which she receives during her novitiate is completed with TEMPORARY PROFESSION.
