The congregation of the sisters of Mary Mother of God (SMMG) is a religious institute of Diocesan right in which the members pronounce vows of chastity, poverty and obedience and commit themselves to a life fraternal life in common
Our Mission
The Sisters of Mary Mother of God, in union and in mandate of the Church, participate in the merciful mission of Christ through taking care of children, adults, the sick, the poor who are neglected, giving catechetical instructions to all of them with Emphasis to the youth teaching in schools and nursing the sick
Charism
In response to God’s eternal love and in union with Christ, the sisters of Mary Mother of God are called to live the Merciful love of God and serve the Lord with joy, humility, confidence and peace for the Greater glory of God and salvation of mankind. This response demands great generosity, total surrender and obedience to God’s will
